Reality vs. False Expectations

Updated: Sep 30, 2023

What I share here is what Really Matters to me. If these things are important to me, they may be important to you too. What Really Matters is information that you can use in everyday life. This week what really matters is Reality vs. False Expectations #reality #false #expectations #change

Let’s think about the reality of weight loss vs. false expectations. In today’s fast-paced society, you expect results, like right now! Like right now! Every thing is speed speed speed! This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however it does believe you to believe that everything can and should happen right now. That is not always the case.

The reality is that things take time!
Reality vs. False Expectations

The reality is that things take time. When you decide to change things you have been doing all of your life, it is going to take months to years to change for the long term.

As an example, losing 1-2 pounds of weight is realistic, losing 5+ pounds is a false expectation. Remind yourself life is a marathon, not a sprint. Progress in any form is progress. Slow progress is certainly better than no progress.

Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains certain–what really matters to you is what really matters to you. The universe will give you more when you value what you have! Chow for now!
